Refund Policy

1. Overview

Utkal Visual Art Foundation Trust is a non-profit trust, and fees collected go towards running our art programmes. This policy explains when a refund is available. By enrolling, registering or purchasing from us, you agree to these terms.

2. Classes and courses

• If you miss classes, fees for those sessions are not refundable, but we will try to offer a make-up session where possible.
• If we cancel a batch or cannot offer you a seat, you can choose a full refund or a transfer to another batch.
• If we reschedule a batch and the new timing does not suit you, you may ask for a refund for the sessions not yet attended.

3. Workshops, camps and events

• Cancellations made at least 7 days before the date receive a full refund, less gateway charges.
• Cancellations made within 7 days of the date are not refunded, but you may transfer your place to another person by telling us in advance.
• If we cancel or postpone an event, you can choose a full refund or a place at the rescheduled date.
• Fees for materials already purchased on your behalf are not refundable.

4. Shop orders

• Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective or not what you ordered, tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we will replace it or refund you.
• Original artworks and made-to-order or customised items are not returnable unless they arrive damaged or defective.
• Returned items must be unused and in their original packaging.
• If an order is cancelled before it ships, you will receive a full refund.

5. Donations

Donations made to the Trust are voluntary and are generally non-refundable. If you were charged in error, such as a duplicate payment or a wrong amount, contact us within 7 days and we will correct it.

6. How to request a refund

Email us at info@utkalvisualart.com with your name, mobile number, the class, event or order concerned, the payment reference, and the reason for your request. We may ask for more details to verify your payment.

7. Processing time

We review requests within 3 working days. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days of approval, depending on your bank or payment provider. Payment gateway charges, where they apply, are deducted from the refund.
